aren't these shampoo commercials the worst ever or what? you know what i'm talking about. balik bounce, instant ayos, sumusunod sa galaw? yeah, those commercials. they're not exactly music to the ears. these commercials do nothing but defile the already less-desirable local networks. that's why i tend to stick with etc, jacktv, axn and starworld more: no stupid bubblegum-pop commercials with irritating lyrics that bring nothing but earwax to my ears.

i can't fathom for the life of me how these forwarded messages/chain letters that litter all over internet still manage to fool people. they're in friendster, yahoo messenger, in your email inbox, in your cellphone, everywhere!
and some of them are so stupid i can't help but laugh:
"pass the word 'god you're so nice' to 20 of your friends in yahoo messenger...or one of your love ones will die". wow, how nice of god!
then there's:
"friendster is full. pass this to <insert number here>. otherwise all your friends and testimonials will be deleted". yeah, i heard my bank is closing too...
and the dumbest one, which my girlfriend—of all people—fell victim to:
"hi, i'm <insert name here>. i have one eye, no ears, and i'm dead. pass this text message to 15 people or i'll appear at your bedside at 1am". wow, i didn't know ghosts had cellphones.
don't people realize that these are pranks? and that by falling into these pranks, some idiot behind a computer (or a cellphone) who started it all is getting a kick out of playing a fool out of them all?
the "ghost texter" prank especially got me furious because my girlfriend was fooled into spending P15 worth of load for nothing.
me: you do realize that you've been "punk'd", right?
girlfriend: i don't know, i just want to be cautious. i don't want a ghost by my bed at 1am.
me: it's already 2 in the morning. we were in starbucks at 1am...
